Child/Adolescent Overview
Just as there are a variety of ways that a child or adolescent can fall off track, there are a number of ways that Margie can engage with a family towards beginning to identify solutions.
After the initial consultation, Margie’s experience and broad skill set allows her to offer the following types of services:
Special Education Advocacy — working with school systems to identify appropriate resources via the special education process.
Private School Placement — selecting and facilitating admission to day or boarding schools that fit a client’s unique needs and strengths.
Crisis Intervention — assisting with access to insurance-based options or identifying private alternatives to treat mental health or substance abuse emergencies.
Therapeutic Placement — identifying and facilitating admission to a variety of types of schools and programs chosen to meet the treatment and educational needs of each client.
