Finding one’s way through the maze of special education services and the language of the eligibility process, Independent Education Plan (IEP) and 504 plans can be a frustrating and underproductive process without a guide. While Margie specializes in resource identification, there are times when guiding a family through the special education process is the first step to helping a student to succeed. Her background as a Special Educator allows her to help families through the process and her philosophy informs her belief that, whether a student has previously attended public or private schools, there are times when the resources available through the public systems should be explored.
